Castle of Bouilh

A royal work of art from the 18th century, built by Victor Louis, architect of the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, from an old castle from the 16th century, the Château du Bouilh, classified as a historical monument, is made up of a group of buildings: a pavilion of honor and outbuildings arranged in a hemicycle. The visit allows you to discover the magnificent staircase of honor, the apartments of the Count de La Tour du Pin entirely furnished with period furniture (state rooms, bedrooms, library…), the antique kitchens and the rooms that depend on them, the 19th century chapel… without forgetting the large garden with its varied tree species, overlooking the Dordogne.
