The 17th century gardens were vast and oriented parallel to the Dordogne. Destroyed over the years, they were recreated in 1938 with a simpler, but still regular, design of French parterres by the landscape architect Louis-Ferdinand Duprat. A medieval flower garden and the mill walk complete the visit. The park of the château de Vayres has been awarded the label Jardin Remarquable.
