Hourtin Beach

Children are kings in Hourtin-Port, which has dedicated to them a “House of Early Childhood”.

There is a daycare center for toddlers from 3 months to 3 years old and a play area for 3-12 year olds (all summer). In the “Children’s Island” (open all year round), the juniors can have fun in a huge wooden castle and share games specially made for them (under the supervision of their parents)

The proximity of the largest lake in France will seduce sailing enthusiasts; as for nature lovers, they will be able to discover two sensitive natural spaces of great beauty.

The Lagoon of Contaut The Contaut Lagoon: in the heart of the forest, a wooden footbridge allows you to discover the typical wetland woodland, which has become a biological reservoir for a multitude of animal species.

The beaches of Hourtin Océan, Plage du Port and Piqueyrot have been awarded the 2010 Blue Flag label.
